On Monday, Coca-Cola announced that its U.S. dairy subsidiary Fairlife has resumed the majority of production at four facilities after a ransomware attack prompted a temporary halt.
The company revealed last week that an unauthorized intruder accessed portions of Fairlife’s systems and exfiltrated data, prompting a temporary suspension of operations while the incident was addressed.
Coca-Cola noted that retail availability of Fairlife milk and protein beverages remained largely unchanged thanks to existing inventory, emphasizing that product safety and quality were uncompromised and that no significant financial impact is anticipated.
Restoration efforts for the affected systems continue, according to a company statement.
In pre‑market trading on the NYSE, Coca‑Cola shares edged up 0.06% to $82.30, following a 1.33% gain in Friday’s regular session.
