[Fin.com Secures $20 M Series‑A to Scale Global Payments Network]
Fin.com emerges from stealth with $20 million in seed funding.
The New York‑based fintech announced that the round was led by venture firm Expa and Uber co‑founder Garrett Camp.
Key investors include Coinbase Ventures, Tenet Fund, Second Sight Ventures, along with sovereign and family offices from the Gulf and Africa regions.
Fin.com, founded by Nabeel Alamgir and Mustafa Dar, provides a “single orchestration layer” enabling clients to receive, convert, and transfer funds across borders via local payment rails.
The platform integrates SWIFT messaging, USD virtual accounts, stablecoin settlement, liquidity management and compliance tools within a unified network, according to the company.
Fin.com already processes payments for several of the world’s largest money‑transfer operators and digital‑asset exchanges, serving roughly 825 million end users through these enterprise integrations.
Beyond scaling its existing ecosystem, the company is growing through strategic acquisitions of licensed local financial institutions—to replace traditional external market entry—and aims to complete twelve deals by year‑end.
Management plans to deploy the new capital toward launching additional payment corridors and advancing its acquisition pipeline, while targeting the purchase of a licensed bank within the next half‑year.
The team now employs over 200 individuals across six global offices.
Commenting on the momentum, Expa partner Vitor Lourenço noted, “We back founders who tackle complex challenges like Nabeel and Mustafa, building valuation‑defining businesses step by step.”
“Fin.com’s exit from stealth marks a pivotal chapter,” added the firm’s co‑founders. “Our goal is to transform them into a leading global financial brand capable of reshaping cross‑border value flows.”
