Flowers were placed outside the wrecked Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao bar on Tuesday, 14 July, as forensic officers examined the charred remains, with a burnt drum kit still visible on the stage.
The blaze, which erupted just before midnight on Sunday, resulted in at least 27 fatalities and injured roughly 70 individuals, according to authorities.
Two members of the cover band Tosakan were among the victims—a keyboardist named Kwang and a singer named Breeze—whose partner and boyfriend, singer Athipat Wijarn, recounted carrying her lifeless body from the smoke‑filled, pitch‑black venue.
Police are reviewing whether an exit was blocked and inspecting the building’s electrical wiring, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said after visiting the scene. The incident marks Thailand’s deadliest fire since the 2009 Santika club blaze in Bangkok, which claimed 67 lives.
