Brinley Reece Marries Husband Marcus Aponte
Brinley Reece, known in the company as Brinley, announced her marriage to her boyfriend Marcus Aponte on her official Instagram account, confirming the ceremony took place this past Saturday, October 3. The celebration marks a personal milestone before continuing her journey in pro wrestling.

Earlier in her career, Ruggiero — also known professionally as Brinley Reece — made her industry presence at SummerSlam in July 2022 during her tryout week in Nashville, Tennessee. She and seven other female prospects received contracts from veteran coach Paul Levesque that same summer, eventually joining WWE’s roster as part of the Fall 2022 Rookie Class and reporting to the Performance Center.
Reece’s televised debut arrived on October 17, 2023, when she stepped into NXT under her performance name Brinley Reece, filling in for Jakara Jackson in the opening rounds of the Women’s NXT Breakout Tournament. Competing against established talent, she faced off in the first round against Arianna Grace but unfortunately exited with a loss.
In March 2025, Reece underwent essential shoulder surgery that sidelined her for the remainder of the year. Following the hiatus, Reuters confirmed she was released from her contract by WWE in January 2026.
