Bayley commemorated the growing solidarity for Rebel’s fight against ALS by participating in the “Ice Bucket Challenge” on Instagram.
The former WWE Women’s Champion doused herself with not one but two buckets of water for the challenge, nominating two groups of people to take on the next challenge.
The Instagram post coincides docket with ongoing speculation about Bayley’s future in professional wrestling following the July 18 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Rebel, who has competed in TNA and AEW, has received widespread support from the global wrestling community in recent months.
Having joined I AM ALS as an ambassador in June, Rebel aims to contribute to tangible progress in research and treatments for the neurodegenerative disease.
AEW has increased awareness for the cause through initiatives such as the Rebel Heart merchandise line and the forthcoming Rebel Heart edition of Dynamielo slated for September 9.
