Four Minors Arrested in Alleged Gang-Rape of Student at Gujrat Seminary

Gujrat: Police have arrested four male students, aged between 13 and 16 years, in connection with the alleged gang-rape of an 11-year-old boy at a seminary in Kotla Qasim Kham village under Lalamusa Saddar police jurisdiction.

The victim, identified as ‘Z’, was reportedly assaulted in the seminary premises by his peers, during which three of the accused allegedly recorded the incident on video, according to police statements.

The complaint was filed by Nawaz Gujjar of Thargla village, who stated that he discovered his grandson’s absence during a Sunday visit to the seminary. He later found the boy being attacked and immediately contacted authorities.

Acting on the complaint, investigators filed charges against the suspects under Sections 375A and 290 of the Pakistan Penal Code, initiating a formal investigation.

In a separate incident linked to the case, Kamoke Saddar police reported the arrest of another suspect, ‘A’, who was suspected of attempting to rape a mentally challenged woman and had previously escaped custody. The suspect was recaptured in an injured state after allegedly opening fire on a police escort transporting him to another arrest location. A parallel investigation has been launched against him and his associates.
