The Trackhouse MotoGP squad announced on Thursday morning that Francesco Guidotti has taken on the role of team manager, effective immediately from the upcoming Czech Grand Prix at Brno.
This appointment marks a significant restructuring within Justin Marks’ organisation, following the announcement that Davide Brivio will depart at season’s end to join Honda – a role that will focus on broader marketing and business development rather than strictly MotoGP.
Guidotti will concentrate on shaping the medium and long‑term future of the American team, while Brivio will continue to oversee day‑to‑day operations throughout the current campaign.
After a highly successful tenure at Pramac, Guidotti served as KTM’s team manager in 2022 before leaving the German‑based outfit amid growing instability in mid‑2024. He has since explored several opportunities before accepting Marks’ offer to return to MotoGP.
“I’m grateful to Justin for his confidence in me,” Guidotti said. “I’m excited to rejoin the sport and contribute to Trackhouse’s growth and performance.”
He added, “Returning to work with Aprilia is particularly meaningful – a lot of good memories and friendships. I look forward to the challenges ahead with the SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team.”

Marks noted, “Francesco’s extensive experience in professional motorcycle racing and his alignment with our culture make him an ideal fit as we advance Trackhouse’s ambitions in MotoGP.”
Key challenges for Guidotti include assembling the 2027 rider lineup. While Aprilia prefers to recruit Enea Bastianini, the Italian’s future depends on KTM releasing him from a unilateral option clause that could extend his stay at Tech3. The second seat will also be contested, with Raul Fernandez’s recent victories—such as the 2025 Australian Grand Prix and the Mugello sprint win—bolstering his case amid competition from Moto2 champion Manuel Gonzalez and former MotoGP rider Luca Marini.
