Critics online compared his continued performances to elder abuse, prompting Valli to publicly assure that he intended to keep singing as long as possible. Although he had been securing casino gigs earlier this year, his brother has now confirmed that the veteran artist is officially retired.
In an all‑caps Facebook message on Wednesday, Bobby Valli, Frankie’s younger brother, reflected on the singer’s remarkable career and declared, “HE WILL NOW RETIRE. WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE SPECIAL MEMORIES OF FRANKIE VALLI. HE HAS REACHED A PLACE IN HIS LIFE WHERE HIS FAMILY IS THERE TO LOVE, CHERISH AND TO BE THERE FOR HIM. WE APPRECIATE YOUR LOVE AND CONCERN.”
The most recent lineup of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons had scheduled additional tour dates earlier this year, but after turning 92 in May, he cancelled the remaining shows. In a social‑media statement he explained that he will step back from touring to focus on his health and look forward to returning when he feels stronger. Setlist.fm records his final performance at the Pechanga Casino in Temecula, California, which took place at the end of February 2026.
