Former AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) have claimed the Undisputed British Tag Team Championships at Revolution Pro Wrestling’s 14th‑anniversary event.
The duo triumphed over Cowboy Way (Thomas Shire and 1 Called Manders) in a highly physical clash at London’s OVO Wembley Arena. This victory marks FTR’s first major win since they lost the AEW World Tag Team Titles to Adam Copeland and Christian Cage at Double or Nothing on May 24.
Harwood announced in June that he and Wheeler were stepping away temporarily to focus on personal and family matters. He later revealed upcoming appearances, including a tag‑team match against The Good Brothers at the Appalachian Mountain Wrestling show in Corbin, Kentucky on August 22, followed by a title challenge at RevPro’s UK event on August 29.
Bodyslam.net reported in June that FTR are approaching the final year of their four‑year contract signed with AEW in 2023. The team believes their consistent performances merit top‑tier financial treatment within AEW, and there has been preliminary interest from WWE through mutual contacts. However, no immediate departure from AEW is expected beyond the current contract year.
