Fuchs SE reported a significant rise in profit for the first nine months of fiscal 2026, fueled by higher sales revenues, and reaffirmed its recently upgraded full-year outlook.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the German petroleum products manufacturer expects sales revenue growth to remain consistent with the prior year. However, the company projects that sales volume growth will decelerate toward year-end due to pull-forward effects from the first half and seasonal factors.

Management noted that risks to sales volumes and margins remain elevated amid a volatile market environment.

For the full fiscal year 2026, Fuchs maintains its revised guidance. The company now anticipates EBIT of approximately €500 million, up from the previous range of €460 million to €480 million. The sales revenue forecast has been narrowed to around €4.1 billion, exceeding the prior estimate of over €3.7 billion.

In the nine-month period, earnings after tax surged 23% to €281 million from €228 million a year earlier. Earnings per ordinary share rose 24% to €2.14 from €1.73, while earnings per preference share increased 24% to €2.15 from €1.74.

EBIT climbed 25% to €409 million from €326 million, with all regions contributing to the growth. The EBIT margin improved to 13.1% from 12.1% in the prior year.

Sales revenues advanced 16% to €3.126 billion from €2.700 billion, driven by higher volumes and inflationary effects. Regionally, sales grew 17% in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa; 13% in Asia-Pacific; and 14% in North and South America.
