Tokyo — Fujikura is significantly expanding its fiber-optic cable production capacity, driven by a surge in orders from data centers. This ramp-up comes after the company’s more conservative forecasts began to look outdated, helping to restore investor confidence and marking a strategic shift for the manufacturer still recovering from past overreach.
