On Thursday, October 8, Geordie Greep faced accusations of sexual assault after flyers were distributed to fans waiting for his Vancouver concert. The flyers claimed he was involved in an incident that morning, leading to a nearly two-hour delay in his performance, which he played without his band. Greep subsequently canceled the remainder of his US tour dates.
During his Vancouver show, Greep addressed the allegations, explaining that he was at a house party and made an advance that was not successful. He stated that he apologized immediately, describing it as a complete misunderstanding, and expressed deep regret. He firmly denied being a rapist, emphasizing that the situation was not as portrayed.
The canceled shows include venues in Boise, Salt Lake City, Boulder, and Denver. Ticket holders received notifications via email from the venues, with no direct announcement from Greep. His concert in Omaha on October 14 currently shows no cancellation, and his upcoming European dates next month have not been addressed.
