Microsoft has announced that prices for all Xbox consoles will increase this August. This marks the second price adjustment in less than a year, driven by rising memory costs impacting the global computing and automotive industries. However, ahead of these increases, several Prime Day-related discounts are available for both the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
The 1TB Xbox Series X is currently available for $573 at Walmart and $573.99 at Target, representing a substantial drop from its standard $649.99 retail price. This model, featuring a built-in 4K Blu-ray player, is expected to climb to $799.99 in a little over a month. It remains the ideal choice for those planning to play GTA VI later this year.
For those preferring the all-digital Xbox Series S, which typically costs $399.99 but will rise to $499.99 in August, Dell currently offers the 512GB model for $349.99. Target also lists the console at $379.99, making it a viable alternative for those who prefer local pickup or possess Target Circle Card discounts.
