White Sox vs. Guardians Predictions
The White Sox last won the World Series in 2005, but they enter this postseason backed by significant star power, including Miguel Vargas and Munetaka Murakami, the latest Japanese superstar to join the MLB. Sean Burke is scheduled to take the mound for the Sox tonight.
Cleveland’s last championship victory dates all the way back to 1948. The Guardians are counting on standout players like Chase DeLauter and Steven Kwan, alongside starter Gavin Williams. Williams recently appeared out of the bullpen in Game 4 on Thursday night, helping record the final three outs. Playing at home, the Guardians are the slight betting favorite tonight.
The winners of tonight’s game will go on to face the Tampa Bay Rays, who completed a three-game sweep of the New York Yankees in their 2026 American League Division Series.
