2) Demonstrated clinical deterioration beyond original prognoses or development of a new medical condition

• Applications filed before April 23, 2026, require submitted deterioration reports within three years of diagnosis, not the original payment date
• For post-April 23, 2026 applications, submissions must adhere to a three-year window from the initial EGMP award issuance

AND

3) Condition must constitute a severe, irreversible physical or mental disability, including debilitating scarring or disfigurements

The program explicitly excludes injuries anticipated to achieve full recovery, with awards reserved for cases of substantial and enduring impairment.

Application Process

All claim submissions predating July 23, 2026, entered processing pipelines before the system closed. Review panels communicate finalized determinations exclusively through electronic correspondence.

Payment Distribution
