Greater Noida, June — Following their runner‑up finish in the Big Cricket League’s inaugural season, Gujarat Diamonds owner Meenakshi Aggarwal thanked players, support staff, management, and fans for their support.
Aggarwal expressed pride in the franchise’s debut, noting that reaching the final and finishing as runners‑up was a major achievement. The franchise distinguished itself off the field by securing nine sponsors, the highest number among all teams in the Big Cricket League, underscoring its growing brand strength and popularity.

The roster featured former Sri Lankan captain Upul Tharanga, Isuru Udana, Asela Gunaratne, Christopher Mpofu, Jesal Karia, Gaurav Dhiman, Anujj Chaudhary, and Sural Kanwar.
