The Milwaukee Brewers are now just one win away from winning the 2026 World Series, the first title in franchise history.
In Game 3 on Monday night, the Brewers rode an eight-run fifth inning to a 10-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. The win gave Milwaukee the chance to complete the sweep in Game 4 on Tuesday. The central question now is whether the Brewers will raise the trophy at Tropicana Field or whether the Rays will keep their postseason alive and force a Game 5.
With the series still on the line, the next game will be pivotal for both teams.

Editor’s Picks
How the Brewers can finish it off: Keep the approach that led to the win. The Brewers have hit with purpose, fielded with confidence and pitched with vigor. They can pursue their first World Series title. With a bullpen game scheduled and leverage relief arms available, manager Pat Murphy can deploy his relievers strategically. If the Brewers choose to chase Rays starter Griffin Jax early, Tampa Bay’s bullpen may not be able to contain Milwaukee’s hitters.
How the Rays can stay alive: Play every at-bat with urgency, generate swings and misses and use their best players. After sitting Jonathan Aranda and Liam Hicks for platoon reasons, the Rays must refocus. They won 98 games and advanced through the American League bracket, but the first three World Series games have not reflected their full strength.
