Harold Fannin Jr. Absent from Browns Offseason Workouts

The Browns’ offseason program has concluded, and a key offensive player was notably absent from the sessions.

According to Zac Jackson of The Athletic, tight end Harold Fannin Jr. did not take part in the offseason workouts.

During his rookie season, Fannin appeared in 16 games with 13 starts, recording 72 receptions for 731 yards and six touchdowns, plus a rushing score.

Teams are not required to reveal injury details during the offseason; that obligation begins only in the first week of the regular season.

At present, the reason for Fannin’s absence from offseason workouts remains unclear; it is not contract-related, as he is not eligible for a new deal until after the 2027 season.

Beyond concerns about his health, his absence has kept him from participating in the new offensive scheme being installed by coach Todd Monken.
