Harry Styles Begins Groundbreaking 30‑Night Residency at Madison Square Garden

Harry Styles launched his landmark 30‑night residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, August 26, delivering a heartfelt tribute to Dolly Parton. Footage and the complete setlist are featured below.

The residency is part of the singer’s ‘Together, Together’ tour, which previously featured a record‑breaking 12 shows at London’s Wembley Stadium, plus stops in Amsterdam, São Paulo and Mexico City.

He has now arrived across the Atlantic for an impressive 30‑night stand at the iconic Madison Square Garden, which began last night (Wednesday, August 26).

These 30 performances represent the final dates of this leg of the tour, culminating in a “Harryween” show on October 31, followed by additional dates in Melbourne and Sydney in December.

During the opening night at Madison Square Garden, Styles debuted ‘Dance No More’ as the set’s opener and performed ‘Carolina’ live for the first time. Additional premieres that night were ‘Cinema’, ‘Kiwi’, and ‘Satellite’ (the latter previously performed only in part). Fan favourites such as ‘Music for a Sushi Restaurant’ and ‘Watermelon Sugar’ appeared earlier in the 21‑song setlist.

The remainder of the setlist featured tracks such as ‘Sweet Creature’, ‘Waiting Game’, ‘Are You Listening Yet?’, ‘Ready Set Go’ and ‘Pop’, before closing with his biggest hits – ‘American Girls’, ‘As It Was’, ‘Sign of the Times’ and ‘Aperture’.

Near the show’s conclusion, Styles expressed gratitude to “all the musicians who inspire me,” specifically honoring the late Dolly Parton, who passed away on Tuesday, August 25, after a brief battle with cancer.

He said, “Dolly, we love you, thank you so much,” then played Parton’s 1974 classic ‘I Will Always Love You,’ prompting fans to wave their phone torches.

The residency continues on Friday, August 28, and will run through the end of October.

Opening acts for the run include Robyn, Shania Twain, Jamie xx, Jorja Smith, Fousheé, Fcukers and Skye Newman. During the Wembley leg, Styles honored David Hockney, reflected on his One Direction past, performed a cover of ‘Three Lions,’ and celebrated England’s World Cup victory over DR Congo after projecting the match on the stadium’s large screen.

The London run concluded with a surprise appearance by his sister Gemma and a Pride‑themed celebration. Styles later earned a Guinness World Record for the Wembley residency and was presented with a gold Blue Peter badge in recognition of the achievement.

NME attended the ‘Together, Together’ tour in Amsterdam in May, awarding the show a glowing five‑star review and describing it as “a hopeful celebration of community and connection.”

All dates support his fourth solo album, ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally,’ released in March. He debuted the record with a ‘One Night Only’ show in Manchester earlier this year, which was later filmed for a Netflix special.
