Harry Styles launched the annual “Harryween” Halloween concert series in 2021 during his 15‑day Madison Square Garden residency. This weekend, coinciding with his extended 30‑day residency, the tradition resurfaced at the venue.

On Friday, Styles appeared in a 1970s Elvis costume and also portrayed his X Factor audition persona. He performed Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely,” the same song he sang during his X Factor audition. Later that evening, he made remarks about the cost of caffeinated drinks in New York City, a point he raised accurately but with a perspective that seems out of place for a pop star.

On Halloween night, the final evening of his MSG residency, Styles wore a Pizza Rat costume and an “I Am a Rat” T‑shirt. His fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, appeared as a bodega plastic bag, a choice that echoed the rat motif and New York City symbolism. To further emphasize the local flavor, Knicks star Jalen Brunson presented Styles with a banner commemorating his 30‑day residency, dressed in running attire, a baseball cap, and headphones — the ensemble he has been seen wearing while walking the Williamsburg Bridge.

He also introduced a cover of Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer.” Earlier in the tour, he performed a snippet of “This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)” during his “Treat People With Kindness” segment.
