Even months after the release of his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, Harry Styles continues to see significant momentum. He is currently executing his “Together, Together” concert tour, which utilizes a unique global strategy.
Rather than visiting numerous cities, Styles is focusing on seven primary locations: Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York City, Melbourne, and Sydney. His schedule includes more than 60 performances between May and December, often playing multiple consecutive nights in a single city, all of which have consistently sold out.
While Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally and its various singles continue to perform well on the American Billboard charts, “Sign of the Times” stands out by reaching new peaks on multiple charts years after its original success.
New Global Chart Peaks for “Sign of the Times”
This week, “Sign of the Times” saw a significant rise on both of Billboard’s global song rankings. The track climbed from No. 53 to No. 39 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and moved from No. 57 to No. 46 on the Billboard Global 200, marking simultaneous new peaks for both metrics.
The Billboard Global 200 accounts for streaming and sales data worldwide, including the United States, whereas the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart tracks consumption outside of the American market.
Matching Styles’ Previous Chart Success
As it reaches its new peak, “Sign of the Times” also improves its standing within Styles’ own catalog on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. By breaking into the top 40 at No. 39, it ties “Season 2 Weight Loss” as one of his two songs to reach that specific position.
While “Season 2 Weight Loss” peaked at No. 39 in March and spent only two weeks on the chart, “Sign of the Times” has now spent 28 weeks on the roster and continues to climb.
Resurgence in Digital Song Sales
The track is also gaining traction on the Digital Song Sales chart, which monitors the best-selling individual downloads in the United States. During this period, the song rose four spots, moving from No. 17 to No. 13.
Data from Luminate shows that “Sign of the Times” sold nearly 1,300 copies across platforms like Amazon and iTunes during the latest tracking window. This follows a previous run where the song reached No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart.
Dominating the Global Charts
Styles currently holds three positions on both the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and Billboard Global 200 charts. “Sign of the Times” is leading the charge, while “As It Was” also maintains a position within the top 200 of both rankings.
Additionally, “American Girls,” a track from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, moved up one spot from No. 103 to No. 102 on the Billboard Global 200, though it saw a slight decline to No. 127 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.
Broad Success for “American Girls”
Although “American Girls” currently has the lowest ranking among Styles’ three global hits, it appears on more diverse charts than his other tracks. The single is currently positioned within the top 40 of both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Radio Songs chart.
The song has also achieved top 20 status across all three of Billboard’s pop radio charts: Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay, and Adult Contemporary.
“Aperture” Returns to the Charts
A fourth Styles track is also making an appearance on a domestic Billboard chart. “Aperture,” the lead single from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, has returned to the Hot Dance/Pop Songs ranking at No. 15. Notably, when “American Girls” previously hit No. 1, it joined a select group of solo male artists to top that chart.
