Health Wildcatters Showcases 14th Cohort at INVEST Digital Health Conference

INVEST Digital Health, scheduled for October 29 with a focus on consumers, digital health, diagnostics, drug platforms, and self-insured employers, will return to Pegasus Park. The campus, which also hosts accelerator Health Wildcatters and MedCity News partner, will feature the latest cohort of startups driving healthcare innovation.

Health Wildcatters co-founder and CEO Dr. Hubert Zajicek will moderate a panel on how convenience is reshaping clinical strategy at the conference. The discussion will explore how providers are adapting consumer-centric practices to enhance patient loyalty, adherence, and outcomes. Panelists include Angeline Chen (Novellia), Arpan Parikh (Kin Health), and Travis Rush (Reperio Health).

Regarding the new cohort, Zajicek stated: “We are thrilled to welcome 10 innovative healthcare startups to Dallas and the rapidly growing North Texas healthcare ecosystem. The innovation driven by these companies has the potential to address complex healthcare challenges and shape the future of care.”

Health Wildcatters unveiled its 14th cohort this week, comprising 10 startups from the U.S., Canada, and Israel. One-third of the companies are female-founded or female-led, according to the organization’s press release.

Atomistic Insights develops physics-guided AI for protein dynamics and drug discovery, offering its DeepPath platform to identify drug-binding opportunities and accelerate therapeutic development. Co-founders: Katie Kuo and Shiyao Bao

Calaris Diagnostics creates saliva-based diagnostics for early chronic disease detection, starting with fatty liver disease (MASLD/MASH). Founder: Dr. Jim Chen

DISCHARGEpath automates hospital discharge coordination using AI, covering eligibility, prior authorization, post-acute placement, and remote monitoring. Founder: Sean Elwell

EquiShift provides AI-powered demand forecasting to optimize hospital staffing, reduce costs, and alleviate clinician burnout. CEO: Snehita Sana
