Hero MotoCorp Partners with KSR Group to Enter German Motorcycle Market
Hero MotoCorp’s Expansion into the German Market
Overview of the Partnership
On July 16, Hero MotoCorp announced its entry into the German market via a distribution agreement with Austria’s KSR Group. The move extends the Indian motorcycle leader’s European presence to five countries as it accelerates global expansion.
Key Details of the German Entry
Here are some more details:
Product Portfolio and Distribution Network
• The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer by volume will launch in Germany with its premium motorcycle lineup, headed by the XPulse 200 4V series.
• KSR Group, which also handles distribution for Eicher Motors’ Royal Enfield and Japan’s Kawasaki Motors, will introduce Hero MotoCorp’s range through more than 28 official sales and service points across major German cities, with a target of 30 outlets.
After-Sales Support and Customer Assistance
• These locations will also provide after-sales service, maintenance, and commercial support to customers.
Strategic Goals and Previous Expansions
• The German launch aligns with the New Delhi–based firm’s strategy to reduce reliance on India and establish a foothold in high-value markets.
• Last October, the company revealed plans to enter the UK with a similar partnership with Lancashire-based distributor MotoGB.
Financial Performance and International Growth
• Hero MotoCorp closed fiscal year 2026 with 40% year-on-year growth in global business, supported by steady demand across key international markets.
