CAIRO, June 21 — Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said Sunday that Israeli forces would not remain in Lebanon and warned that the group would respond to any violation by Israel.
His remarks came as Israeli officials said their troops would be free to act without restrictions to address threats in Lebanon, despite a ceasefire that took effect Friday.
