Sluggish sales and joint venture’s 2028 expiry put renewal talks in focus

On Monday, Honda announced a 10-year extension of its partnership with China’s Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC), which will now run through 2038. This move comes amid ongoing market challenges and the prior 2028 expiration of their joint venture, highlighting the strategic importance of the collaboration for both companies.
