Hull City‘s proposed acquisition of Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya has collapsed after the player decided against the move.
The Premier League newcomers had finalised personal terms with the Bundesliga outfit, with the 21-year-old granted permission to undergo a medical in East Yorkshire.
The France Under-21 international, previously linked with several Premier League clubs, has contributed seven goals and eight assists across 78 appearances for Frankfurt since his 2024 transfer from French side Angers.
Operating primarily as a left winger but versatile enough for multiple attacking roles, Bahoya holds the Bundesliga speed record after being clocked at 23.09mph during a 2025 match against Bochum.
He would have become the Tigers’ 13th signing of the summer window.
