[IDF Neutralizes 12 Hamas Operatives in Gaza, Including Senior Commanders and Oct. 7 Attack Planners]

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) neutralized 12 militants in the Gaza Strip in recent operations, including high-ranking Hamas officials and operatives linked to the October 7 attack on southern Israel, according to the IDF Spokesperson Unit.

In a strike on northern Gaza on Wednesday, the Israeli Air Force eliminated Khalil Jamal Khalil Manaa, a commander in the production headquarters of Hamas’s military wing, the IDF confirmed. Manaa oversaw workshops producing rocket launchers and managed their final assembly stages. He also coordinated operational logistics and contributed to rebuilding Hamas infrastructure during ceasefire periods.

During a separate airstrike in northern Gaza on Friday, the IDF killed Osama Walid Dib Maharb, a platoon commander in the Nuseirat Battalion. Maharb had been in possession of explosive devices targeting IDF forces operating in the region, according to military statements.

The IDF stated that both individuals posed an imminent threat to its troops and were eliminated through precision airstrikes to mitigate risks to personnel.

Another fatality included the head of a Nukhba cell that executed the raid on Camp Re’im during the October 7 massacre. The IDF strikes against Hamas leadership and cells reflect ongoing efforts to degrade militant capabilities and prevent further attacks against Israeli forces across the Gaza Strip.
