IDF Strikes Target Hamas Weapons Leader and Production Facility in Gaza

The IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) eliminated Hamas weapons commander Ismail Abu Pul, who oversaw the production of explosives and anti-tank missiles for the group, in a direct strike on the Al-Maghazi region of Gaza. The operación was confirmed by military officials on Sunday.

Concurrently, the IDF targeted the same weapons production complex, which was established in close proximity to an international aid distribution hub, as part of its military operations. The IDF emphasized that Hamas is exploiting civilian infrastructure to shield and advance its military objectives against forces operating in the Yellow Line area and Israeli citizens.

Hamas has been accused of systematically breaching the ceasefire agreement while attempting to reestablish its combat capabilities.

Hamas health officials reported earlier Sunday that two individuals, including a 4-year-old boy, were killed in IDF airstrikes.

Survivors described injury from flying debris and shrapnel extending across a wide area, with at least six people wounded, including Mohammad Abdel-Salam Taha, the 4-year-old boy, who succumbed to his injuries at a medical facility.

A secondary strike also occurred in the Nuseirat refugee camp, according to Hamas health sources.
