(RTTNews) – Indian share indices swung modestly in early trading on Monday as market participants resumed activity following the extended holiday weekend.

The benchmark BSE Sensex hovered near 77,092, erasing earlier declines amid renewed U.S.-Iran tensions and as investors awaited the onset of the first‑quarter earnings season. The broader NSE Nifty edged up to 24,077.

Kotak Mahindra Bank’s stock slipped 2.6 percent after Managing Director and CEO Ashok Vaswani announced he would not seek reappointment once his current term ends on December 31, 2026.

Waaree Energies fell 4 percent even after the company issued a statement addressing the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s findings in an anti‑circumvention investigation.

Persistent Systems dropped nearly 8 percent following the announcement that its subsidiary, Galaxy Germany Holding SE, had made a voluntary public takeover bid to acquire Nagarro SE.

Hexaware Technologies rose 4.2 percent after being named an authorized reseller of Anthropic’s Claude AI models via Amazon Bedrock.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals gained 1.4 percent after obtaining final U.S. FDA approval for its ANDA for Dapsone Gel, 5 %.

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories rallied more than 4 percent after the U.S. FDA completed a Pre‑License Inspection at its biologics manufacturing facility in Bachupally, Hyderabad.
