(RTTNews) – Indian markets exhibited limited movement in early Friday trading as long-term U.S. Treasury yields continued rising and oil prices held near one-month highs amid ongoing tensions between Washington and Iran over Strait of Hormuz control.

The benchmark BSE Sensex gained marginally to 77,582, breaking a seven-day losing streak after Thursday’s sharp rebound. The NSE Nifty index rose 11 points to 24,243.

Several key industrial stocks showed positive momentum, with Power Grid Corp, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and BEL advancing around 1 percent each. Conversely, consumer-focused companies like Titan Company, Hindustan Unilever, and Indigo faced slight declines of approximately 1 percent.

RailTel Corp experienced a notable 2.6 percent surge following the acquisition of a ₹165 crore order from Western Coalfields.

Kfin Technologies jumped 2.5 percent after private equity firm General Atlantic sold an 8.7 percent stake in the company for approximately ₹1,400 crore.

Amagi Media Labs surged 7.7 percent ahead of planned investor meetings scheduled for August 26-27 in Mumbai.

Saatvik Green Energy climbed 3.3 percent after its subsidiary Saatvik Solar Industries secured a ₹190 crore order for solar photovoltaic module supplies.
