Nearly a year after the feature was announced, Instagram is now rolling out the ability for users to rearrange the order of posts in their profile grid. Initially limited to test groups, the update became widely available on June 8th through both Android and iPhone mobile applications.
Previously, profile posts were displayed in chronological order, with only the option to pin up to three posts at the top. With the new feature, users can long‑press and drag posts to any position, regardless of their age, while pinned posts stay fixed at the top.
