Inter Milan has set an £85 million asking price for Arsenal target Pio Esposito, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Gunners had the Italian on their radar earlier this year, but their enquiry was met with a firm refusal as he was deemed not for sale.
Esposito recently signed a new long-term contract with the Serie A champions, yet speculation about his future persists.
Despite the extension, there is an understanding that he could be sold for the right price, with the valuation currently standing at £85 million.
Inter believe his value will only increase with his progress, and Arsenal face a daunting task in prising him away.
The 21-year-old has been a regular starter in a front two for Inter this term, contributing two goals and two assists.
Arsenal continue to monitor his development closely, and it remains to be seen if they will make a renewed proposal next summer.
