Venezuelan rescuers are working against a critical deadline to locate survivors following the earthquake, as the likelihood of finding people alive diminishes with each passing hour.

Approximately 2,000 search and rescue personnel have been deployed from around the world, including teams from the UK, Mexico, Costa Rica, France, and Spain, joining the emergency response efforts.
