Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, informed Al Jazeera that a recent IAEA resolution regarding Tehran’s nuclear safeguards was effectively “imposed” by the United States and Israel. Baghaei asserted that while Iran is acting in self-defense against ongoing American military and economic aggression, the nation remains open to diplomatic channels.
