Iran has rejected any proposal to tie the release of its frozen assets to discussions over enriched nuclear material, according to informed sources cited by the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
The sources said Tehran has made it clear that no agreement will be reached unless a specified portion of its frozen assets is released as an initial step.
They added that Iran has not yet made any commitments on the specifics of the nuclear dossier.
“No final understanding has been reached with the United States so far, and disagreements remain over certain clauses,” the sources said.
