DUBAI: Iran’s parliamentary speaker stated that regional nations alone should shape the Middle East’s political and security framework, rejecting external interference and urging stronger intra-regional collaboration. Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf delivered these remarks during a gathering of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Baku, Azerbaijan’s capital, amid ongoing efforts by Iran and the United States to negotiate a sustainable peace accord.
