Iran’s Qalibaf Rejects Verbal Guarantees, Emphasizing Action and Military Readiness
In a post shared on X this Friday, Iran’s top negotiator, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, stated that his country places no trust in verbal promises or guarantees. He emphasized that tangible actions are the only valid metrics for progress, asserting that Iran will not take any steps until the opposing party acts first.
Qalibaf further noted that the true victor of any agreement is the party that best prepares for potential conflict immediately following the deal. He argued that concessions are secured not through diplomacy and dialogue, but through military capabilities and missiles.
