Ireland’s national football team is under significant pressure to boycott its upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Israel, with the first game scheduled for this Sunday evening in Hungary. While the team has decided to proceed with the fixture, they will wear black armbands as a form of protest. Additionally, the team will be without their regular goalkeeper, who has chosen to withdraw from the match in solidarity with the boycott movement. Antonia Kerrigan reports.
