Versatile winger Isaac Heath has completed a permanent transfer from Everton to Cambridge United for an undisclosed fee, following a loan spell with Accrington Stanley last season.

Having joined Everton at the age of 13, Heath progressed through the youth academy to become a mainstay for the Under-18s during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 campaigns.

His development continued with frequent appearances for the Under-21s, culminating in him being named the Club’s Under-21s Player of the Season for 2024-25. During that period, he recorded six goal contributions in 16 Premier League 2 appearances, showcasing his adaptability across various roles, including winger, full-back, and central midfield.

While Heath featured in three pre-season friendlies against West Ham United, Blackburn Rovers, and Accrington Stanley last summer, he departs Goodison Park without making a competitive first-team appearance in the Premier League.

Reflecting on his move, Heath stated: “I’m delighted to get the move over the line. This feels like the right club for me at this stage of my career, and my conversations with the manager played a big part in my decision to come here.

“We spoke in depth about how I fit into the team’s style of play and the plans for me going forward, which really excited me. I’m just looking forward to getting started now.”
