An escalation in Israeli military strikes has resulted in multiple casualties across the Gaza Strip, including an attack on a medical supply facility within a hospital compound.

An Israeli drone strike struck a tent functioning as a medical supply warehouse inside the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital complex in Deir el-Balah on Saturday, leaving three individuals injured, according to the hospital’s director.
The Israeli military confirmed it struck a target within the Al-Aqsa Hospital compound, alleging without evidence that a Hamas commander was targeted.
Separately, another Israeli drone struck a bicycle in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City. The Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that at least one person was killed and two others were injured, with the casualties transported to al-Quds Field Hospital.
Earlier in the day, Israeli gunfire killed one person in the village of al-Musaddar, located east of Deir el-Balah.
Hospital officials also reported that an Israeli quadcopter deployed an explosive device near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.
Israel has intensified its military operations across the Gaza Strip in recent days, disregarding the so-called “ceasefire.”
The Gaza Health Ministry stated that over the past 48 hours, it received ten bodies—nine newly killed and one recovered from rubble—along with eighteen wounded individuals.
Authorities noted that other victims remain trapped under destroyed structures or on roads inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense crews.
Since the “ceasefire” between Israel and Hamas took effect in October of last year, the ministry reported that 1,313 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli attacks.
The Palestinian Centre for Missing and Forcibly Disappeared Persons stated on Saturday that between 4,000 and 5,000 Palestinians remain missing and are believed to be trapped under rubble in Gaza.
The center added that between 2,500 and 3,000 people may have been subjected to forced disappearance in Gaza during the conflict.
This estimate is derived from an analytical study of 317 cases, which showed indicators warranting an investigation into a potential broader pattern of enforced disappearances.
Of the 317 cases examined, 302 (95.27 percent) were male and 15 were female. The sample included 41 children and 17 individuals aged 60 or older.
Since Israel’s war began in October 2023, more than 73,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza and over 174,000 injured, the majority of whom are women and children.
