A courtroom in Italy has issued guilty verdicts for 32 defendants regarding the catastrophic bridge collapse in Genoa in 2018. The tragedy claimed 43 lives when vehicles fell from the elevated structure in the port city. On the morning of August 14, 2018, amid a summer storm, a 200-metre segment of the flyover gave way, sending numerous vehicles plummeting into the warehouses and riverbed below.
