Rheon has appeared alongside Michael Sheen in the forthcoming British sci‑fi comedy Out There, which follows a teenage girl in a 1990s Welsh coastal town who becomes convinced her father was abducted by aliens; filming took place in Ceredigion.
He also stars in the film Mountain, currently shooting on Anglesey, which tells the story of a neglected young boy in 1980s Wales who seeks friendship and community after encountering a recluse.
The movie is directed by Celyn Jones, who previously helmed Madfabulous, a portrait of the eccentric 19th‑century Marquess of Anglesey.
The Mountain’s cast also features Scottish actor Peter Mullan and Rebecca Lucy Taylor, better known as the musician Self Esteem.
