JAAC Leaders Set the Agenda for Tomorrow’s Actions in Rawalakot
MUZAFFARABAD: Provisional Joint Action Committee (JAAC) representatives, who have been residing near the Rawalakot borders for over a week, are gearing up to reveal their strategic plan on Tuesday, according to alliance officials.
Recent reports suggest heightened speculation about a planned strike towards Muzaffarabad ahead of key decisions. But leaders are now focusing on outlining their next steps to address the ongoing situation.
Analysts note the JAAC group faces limited viable options. They are considering options such as a strategic march through urban zones or intensifying their road blockade efforts. Officials emphasize decisive measures are expected to be announced shortly.
A local authority spokesperson confirmed that curfew enforcement in Rawalakot remains active, stressing that any attempt to cross would trigger immediate warnings and enforcement actions. The administration will utilize non-lethal alternatives before resorting to force.
Meanwhile, concerns about the use of firearms and crowd control techniques continue to be raised. Officials assure that all actions will comply with established protocols to maintain public safety.
