Jack White delivered a major surprise to fans during his Nashville performance on October 10. During the second of two consecutive nights at the Truth, White reunited with his Raconteurs bandmates for an encore, marking the group’s first live appearance together since December 2019. Fans can watch the quartet perform “Steady, As She Goes,” “Hands,” “Level,” “Broken Boy Soldier,” and “Carolina Drama” below.
Earlier in the week, White teased the possibility of a reunion on Instagram, prompting fans to secure tickets with the promise that “there might be a little surprise.” That surprise materialized when the full lineup took the stage: singer and guitarist Brendan Benson, bassist Jack Lawrence, and drummer Patrick Keeler. Keeler, who has been a member of White’s current touring band, is presently on the road supporting the July release of White’s latest record, Frozen Charlotte.
The Raconteurs’ most recent studio album, Help Us Stranger, was released in 2019. The group also released the Live at Electric Lady EP in 2020, which featured a documentary directed by Jim Jarmusch.
