The Jaguars didn’t overlook the Ravens. They came out focused and never allowed Baltimore to find its rhythm.
Jacksonville cruised to a 33-10 victory, improving to 6-2, while the Ravens dropped to 4-5.
Without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley, and with undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano making his first start, Baltimore’s game plan appeared simple: run the ball and shorten the game. The Ravens struggled to maintain control, and Fagnano’s debut became a difficult assignment.
Jacksonville earned the win for the eighth time by 20-plus points since the start of last season.
The Ravens didn’t record a first down in the second half until Justice Hill broke a 65-yard touchdown run with 7:15 remaining. Baltimore managed just three first downs in the second half and 10 for the game.
The Jaguars outgained the Ravens 319 to 227 and forced three turnovers. Cornerback Jourdan Lewis and defensive back Montaric Brown each intercepted Fagnano, and linebacker Jalen McLeod forced and recovered a fumble by LaJohntay Wester on a kickoff.
Fagnano finished 10-of-18 for 60 yards and two interceptions. Hill recorded nine carries for 85 yards, and Henry totaled 57 rushing yards on 17 carries, moving up to seventh on the NFL’s all-time rushing list.
Lawrence completed 16 of 26 passes for 242 yards and a touchdown. Jakobi Meyers caught four passes for 65 yards; rookie tight end Nate Boerkircher caught two passes for 61 yards; and Parker Washington had two catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.
Bhayshul Tuten rushed for 12 carries and 29 yards, including a touchdown, and Ameer Abdullah had seven carries for 30 yards.
