Christopher Nolan’s cinematic retelling of The Odyssey is now playing in theaters, accompanied by a fresh soundtrack crafted by the tireless composer Ludwig Göransson. The film’s finale is underscored by a new track, “When I’m Home,” written collaboratively by Göransson, acclaimed vocalist James Blake, and hip‑hop icon Travis Scott, with additional input from Nolan himself. The song is available to stream immediately.
Scott’s involvement extends beyond the musical composition; he appears onscreen as a bard during the opening of the movie and reprises the role briefly later on. While “When I’m Home” is the sole track featuring additional artists, the soundtrack also showcases “Circe,” a song performed solely by Samantha Morton in her role as the mythic witch deity. The piece serves as a thematic centerpiece for the epic.
