TOKYO — Japan has announced a defense aid package for Cambodia valued at 500 million yen ($3.08 million), which will include naval patrol boats and army communications equipment. This marks the first time Tokyo has extended support to the Southeast Asian nation through its Official Security Assistance (OSA) program, an initiative designed to bolster the military capabilities of partner countries.
