He instantly sensed something was wrong, realizing Owen had not yet reached the ring. When Matt Miller entered and confirmed the incident, Jarrett learned that Owen had fallen, abruptly ending the match.

On His Emotions Going Out To the Ring After Hart’s Fall:

Jarrett described throwing his belongings into a car and being driven at high speed by a police officer who ultimately told him, “It’s not good, Jeff,” confirming the severity of the situation. He explained that the overwhelming weight of the incident prompted him to head straight to the ring, where he felt disoriented and struggled to comprehend what had happened. After completing the match, he returned backstage where a police officer approached him, asking if he wanted his belongings, to which Jarrett requested a brief moment.
