Jena Bishop delivered a standout performance in front of her home crowd at PFL San Diego, securing a first-round submission victory over former UFC fighter Ariane da Silva.
The bantamweight contest concluded via armbar at 4:08 of Round 1 at Pechanga Arena, improving Bishop’s professional record to 11-3.
Bishop has now stringed together two consecutive wins, with all three of her career losses coming against notable opponents Taila Santos, Dakota Ditcheva, and Liz Carmouche.
For da Silva, the defeat marked her first setback in the PFL following a debut victory over Sumiko Inaba by unanimous decision in March.
