Jennie Joins Tame Impala for Star-Studded Debut Performance of ‘Dracula (Remix)’ at Boston’s TD Garden

The South Korean pop sensation joined Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker onstage during the band’s sold-out show at Boston’s TD Garden for a memorable performance of their collaborative hit.

Tame Impala delivered an unforgettable evening at Boston’s TD Garden when they surprised fans by bringing out Jennie for the first-ever live performance of their chart-topping collaboration “Dracula (Remix).” The atmosphere turned distinctly vampiric as Jennie appeared on stage clad in a striking black, gothic-inspired gown, with crimson lighting illuminating the venue. The audience erupted in cheers upon seeing the celebrated artist join the psychedelic rock band on stage.

Jennie and Parker delivered a powerful rendition of “Dracula (Remix),” moving dynamically across the stage as confetti rained down during the second verse, creating an electric atmosphere that cemented the performance as a career highlight for both artists.

“Jennie, you’re a fucking legend,” Parker praised as the song concluded. While Tame Impala had previously performed the track live and Jennie had included it in her solo sets, this marked the first time the two artists shared the stage for the collaboration.

“This is going to be a special night, you’ll see,” Parker had teased at the start of the show – a promise he more than fulfilled.

The collaboration began in February when Tame Impala and Jennie released the “Dracula” remix following social media teasers. The track quickly became a massive success, earning both the psychedelic rock band and pop star their first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. It also marked Tame Impala’s debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard Global 200. According to Luminate’s mid-year music report, the song ranks among the year’s most-streamed tracks globally, with nearly one billion on-demand audio streams worldwide.

The remix also sparked a viral sensation on TikTok, generating 1.3 million videos using the soundbite. In May, Parker joined forces with Dua Lipa to participate in the trend after the pop star made a surprise appearance at Tame Impala’s London show. Since last fall, the band has been touring in support of Parker’s latest album Deadbeat.
